At first, I wasn’t sure how to answer this – I am good with advice on travel, but I know I don’t want to be in the travel blog business, even though, I love sharing my adventures, I don’t see it as a business. But then I thought more about why I like to share my adventures. It’s not about the selfies and look at me – in fact I rarely take my own picture when I travel.
But, because I travel so often and still manage to make a living, I do often help people with advice on balance and not giving up before they even get started. I want to take my love of travel to the next level, by helping others achieve the same type of freedom. But, also to help them understand, that freedom is not always free. People, do often thank me for inspiring them.
What they do not always see it that I work a ton. Many folks only see the fun. They don’t see the work that goes into being able to have that fun. As I type this, I am asking myself, why would I want to post about working all the time? I don’t want to waste peoples time. I want to inspire them. Then again, perhaps that would offer a more complete picture. I believe Discovering Your Own Compass, and learning to follow it, is more important than mimicking the success of others. I have done that for a very small amount of people. I want to do it on a much bigger level.
